The BYD SEAL comes with a factory Dynaudio system that looks impressive on paper, but like many OEM “premium” systems, it falls short where it matters most. The soundstage stays low, vocals lack proper height and focus, and the system never fully delivers the openness, control, and balance expected from a genuinely high-end setup.

Our plug-and-play upgrade is designed to unlock the full potential of the OEM system without compromising factory integration. Built around Goldhorn’s award-winning DSP platform, it integrates directly with the vehicle’s A2B network to extract a pure digital signal and deliver a level of control and accuracy typical aftermarket solutions can’t match. Our plug-and-play upgrade uses the Goldhorn AB218 DSP with native A2B integration to take the signal digitally from the OEM system and tune it properly. With no wire cutting, full retention of factory functions, added front door acoustic damping, and improved subwoofer enclosure control, the result is a cleaner, wider, quieter, and more refined system that better suits the premium character of the vehicle.

Will this work with the factory Dynaudio system?

What is the main improvement over stock?

The biggest differences are better soundstage height, clearer vocals, more controlled bass, and a more refined overall presentation. The sound feels less trapped in the doors and more properly placed in the cabin.

Is this just a louder version of the factory system?

No. It will improve output, but the real gain is in control, staging, clarity, and balance. It sounds more complete, not just louder.

What does the door damping do?

The acoustic damping helps reduce resonance and unwanted noise in the doors, which improves midbass response and contributes to a quieter, more composed cabin.

What does the subwoofer enclosure treatment do?

It helps reduce unwanted enclosure resonance, which improves bass definition and makes the low end sound tighter and more controlled.

How long does installation take?
