Warranty Declaration

Old School Car Audio / OSCA supplies carefully selected car audio, integration and vehicle-specific products. We stand behind the products we supply and the workmanship we perform.

This warranty applies to products and services supplied by OSCA in Australia.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty is in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Product Warranty

Products supplied by OSCA are covered by the applicable manufacturer, Australian distributor or OSCA-stated warranty.

This warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Products covered include brands such as:

Goldhorn, Crescendo, Harmonic Harmony, Image Dynamics, Paramat, Stinger, Alpine, Ground Zero, SounDigital, Saddle Tramp, PowerBass and other products supplied by OSCA.

If a product supplied by OSCA is confirmed to be faulty and covered by warranty, OSCA will assist with the warranty process.

Depending on the product and assessment outcome, this may include repair, replacement, service, credit or another suitable remedy.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you experience a problem, please contact OSCA before removing, modifying, repairing or returning any product.

We may ask for:

  • proof of purchase
  • order or invoice details
  • product model and serial number, where applicable
  • vehicle details
  • a clear description of the issue
  • photos or video of the issue
  • details of who installed the product

OSCA may try to diagnose the issue by phone, email, message, photos or video before requesting that a product or vehicle is brought in for inspection.

Products must not be returned without approval from OSCA.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by:

  • misuse, abuse or incorrect operation
  • incorrect installation by the customer or a third party
  • unauthorised repair, modification or adjustment
  • use of incorrect wiring, harnesses or accessories
  • third-party software, apps, firmware or unsupported devices
  • incompatibility with third-party devices, factory systems or aftermarket components
  • water damage, corrosion, impact damage, heat damage or environmental damage
  • vehicle electrical faults, battery issues or pre-existing vehicle problems
  • overdriving speakers, subwoofers or amplifiers
  • clipping, distortion or incorrect gain adjustment after handover
  • normal wear and tear
  • damage during transport or return shipping
  • products with removed, altered or defaced serial numbers

OSCA does not guarantee compatibility with every third-party device, app, software version, factory vehicle feature or aftermarket component unless confirmed in writing.

Software, Firmware and DSP Settings

Some products may require software, firmware or app updates to resolve issues or maintain compatibility.

Where relevant, OSCA may ask you to check or update software before a warranty claim proceeds.

DSP tuning and system calibration are valid for the system as delivered. Changes to equipment, wiring, source settings, firmware, vehicle coding, amplifier settings or DSP files after handover may require paid diagnosis or recalibration.

OSCA Kits and Packages

OSCA Kits and Packages are pre-engineered product combinations designed for selected vehicles, platforms or use cases, including Harley-Davidson and EV sound packages.

Products included in an OSCA Kit or Package are covered by their applicable manufacturer or Australian distributor warranty.

Where an OSCA Kit or Package is installed by OSCA, installation workmanship, integration and calibration are supported separately under OSCA’s workmanship warranty.

Warranty support applies to the kit or package as supplied and configured. Changes to products, wiring, DSP settings, firmware, vehicle systems or installation by a third party may affect warranty support.

Returns, Freight and Labour

Customers may be responsible for return freight, inspection freight, removal labour or reinstallation labour where the issue is not caused by OSCA workmanship or is not covered by product warranty.

If a product is confirmed to be faulty and covered by warranty, OSCA will work with the customer, manufacturer or distributor to provide a suitable remedy.
