Old School Car Audio Shop is the eCommerce extension of our workshop, built to bring the same system-first thinking and handpicked gear to enthusiasts Australia-wide.
Built in the Workshop. Now Available Online.
Old School Car Audio was brought to life as the long-held vision of the founder, Craig Harrison, with the motto "Car audio for enthusiasts - by enthusiasts", and to promote proper system design, clean installations, and long-term reliability, not quick sales.
Over the years, OSCA built a reputation for thoughtful system planning, premium product selection, and doing things properly the first time.
As demand grew beyond the workshop walls, we launched our online store to give enthusiasts access to the same handpicked products we trust and install ourselves.
This isn’t just another aftermarket webstore. It’s a curated collection of gear we believe in.
Real Car Audio, Backed by people who live it
Our Core Values
The OSCA Way
The Old School Car Audio way is simple — Respect, Precision, and Community
We respect the music, the vehicle, and the people investing in their systems by focusing on what truly improves the listening experience and recommending products that work properly together. We value precision by choosing gear based on proven performance and real-world results rather than trends or hype. At the heart of it all is community, a shared passion for car audio built around enthusiasts who believe in doing things properly and building something that lasts.

Respect
Respect for the Music
We stock products based on what they do for the listening experience: tonal balance, staging, control, and realism. We do not chase trends or spec-sheet hype. If it does not contribute to believable sound in a car, it does not make it into the OSCA range.
Respect for the Vehicle
Car audio only works when the gear suits the platform. We prioritise products that integrate properly, mechanically, electrically, and acoustically, so systems are reliable, serviceable, and built to perform in the real world, not just on paper.
Respect for the Customer
We treat every sale as the start of support, not the end of a transaction. That means straightforward recommendations, clear expectations, and products we can stand behind. If you are investing in your system, we respect that by helping you choose parts that work together.

Precision
Precision is how we choose what earns a place in this store. We do not stock gear because it is popular or packed with features. We stock it because it performs when it matters. Our standards come from real-world system building with strong electrical foundations, proper integration, noise control, and results you can verify. The goal is not louder or more options. It is a system that sounds right with believable tone, stable staging, and effortless dynamics, backed by products that help you get there without guesswork.

Community
OSCA has grown out of a community of automotive & audio enthusiasts, competitors, and professionals who are passionate about car audio and resonate with our Old School philosophy. This store exists to reach more like-minded people around Australia, and grow this community. As car audio interest continues to see a real revival in recent years, our goal is to support the next wave while carrying forward the old school values that keep the craft honest. Scaling the platform is simply a way to connect more people who value car audio at the same level, and to build long-term relationships, not quick sales.
Our Journey... so far

2017
The Beginning
Old School Car Audio was founded in Melbourne, Australia by Craig Harrison. From the start, Craig's vision was always to make OSCA more than just a shop. In 2017, he focused on laying the business on strong foundations, cultivating a community. Craig launched the OSCA channel on YouTube which gained traction quickly online and locally the workshop was positioned as a "hang-out" for anyone wanting to talk car audio or collaborate on builds together.

2018-2021
Setting The Stage
These early years were about putting in the work to make a local name for the brand. The team worked hard on project builds, creating behind-the-scenes workshop content, and filming for YouTube. These "grind years" started paying off, when OSCA was called out as a new channel with superb quality videos in a feature from Williston Audio Labs (international car-audio blog).

2022
New Perth Workshop
OSCA opens a new custom-built workshop in Perth, designed with a dedicated installation space and attached offices. Alongside it comes a major investment in modern machinery including a CNC router, 3D printers, laser technology equipment, and a fully enclosed fabrication room to create car audio masterpieces.

2023
Charity + Higher Standards
OSCA began completing charity builds as a way to reinforce our commitment to giving back, while also stepping into more complex, full-interior customer builds that demanded higher standards in design, integration, and finish.

2024
Distribution Era Begins
OSCA begins its online store journey with a carefully curated premium range of products. After building a strong reputation in the Australian car audio scene and with the founder deeply involved in the community, OSCA caught the attention of leading international brands. By 2024, OSCA was entrusted as Australia’s official distributor for high-end car audio names including Image Dynamics, Crescendo, and Harmonic Harmony.

2025
Expanding Product Range
By 2025, OSCA further expanded its high-end product lineup within the Australian car audio market as the Official Australian Distributor for Goldhorn, a globally recognised DSP manufacturer from China, and Paramat, a premium sound damping manufacturer backed by decades of NVH engineering expertise in India.

2026
OSCA Shop Launch
OSCA officially launched the OSCA Shop webstore, bringing its curated range to enthusiasts nationwide in a more focused and accessible way. What began as a workshop grounded in community and a genuine passion for the craft has evolved into a modern platform, while remaining firmly rooted in our old school values. We remain committed to making high-end car audio more accessible to enthusiasts across Australia.
OSCA was built from a genuine obsession with sound quality and system design. At its core, it’s about treating car audio with the same intent and discipline as home hi-fi, understanding the system as a whole and respecting the craft. This platform is simply a way to extend that approach to like-minded enthusiasts, without compromising what made it credible to begin with.
