History & Milestones
2001-2004
The Beginning
Crescendo was founded in Jakarta, Indonesia, by Andreas Tjahjadi after establishing PT Audio Plus Indonesia in 2001. In 2004, Crescendo released its first product — the Sonata Series amplifier — immediately positioning the brand as a serious sound quality manufacturer focused on engineering rather than mass-market appeal.
2005-2013
Competition Breakthrough
Within a few years, Crescendo systems began appearing in championship-winning vehicles. By 2013, the brand had earned major sound quality titles internationally establishing the brand as a serious global competitor.
2014-2018
Evolution & “King of Sound”
The launch of the Evolution Series marked a major leap forward. The Evolution 7S3 speaker system earned the prestigious “King of Sound” title at EMMA Asia 2018. Crescendo systems dominated Skilled and Master Unlimited classes during this period, reinforcing its championship credibility.
2019-2020
Global Expansion
Crescendo started expanding internationally, strengthening distribution across Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America. The brand evolved from a regional competitor into a globally recognized high-end manufacturer.
2021–2023
The Revolution Series
Crescendo introduced the Revolution Series — a pure, competition-focused platform built for signal integrity and elite performance. Revolution-equipped vehicles quickly captured EMMA Master Unlimited and IASCA Expert titles, cementing the series as championship-proven.
2024
20 Years of Innovation
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Crescendo introduced AI-assisted speaker engineering within the Revolution line. By this stage, the brand had produced champions across EMMA, IASCA, MECA, USACi and other major associations worldwide.
2025
Global Championship Consistency
At the 2025 EMMA European Finals and EMMA Asia Finals, Crescendo systems secured multiple 1st place finishes across Master, Expert, and Entry classes — reaffirming the brand’s place at the top level of global sound quality competition.
